Rachel Forth is the Assistant Director of Engagement Communications at Reconstructing Judaism. She oversees all the organization’s social media profiles, including content creation and online event streaming, and she handles the organization’s event marketing. Rachel was a co-author of “Turning an In-Person Fundraiser Into a Successful Online Event” on eJewish Philanthropy in response to changing in-person events to virtual ones due to COVID-19.

Before joining Reconstructing Judaism, she worked in various roles in both the Conservative and Reform movements. She also volunteered to run events for Hazon Food Festivals and LimmudPhilly, and a local farmers market that dealt with combating a food desert in a Philadelphia neighborhood. Rachel is also a food blogger (Southern Jewish Kitchens) and photographer, who lives in South Philly with her partner, Nick, and two adorable pets, Nico & Liv.
