Tamra Wright

Dr Tamra Wright specialises in 20th century Jewish philosophy and has published on Buber, Levinas and post-Holocaust philosophy. She is the author of The Twilight of Jewish Philosophy: Emmanuel Levinas’s Ethical Hermeneutics. Her most recent book, co-edited with Peter Atterton, is Face to Face with Animals: Levinas and the Animal Question. She also co-edited Radical Responsibility: Celebrating the Thought of Chief Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks. 
Tamra is Curriculum Development Adviser at Faith in Leadership and a Visiting Research Fellow at St Benet's Hall, Oxford. She previously served as Director of Academic Studies at LSJS (London School of Jewish Studies), where she currently holds a Senior Research Fellowship. 
She is the founder of 2020 Torah, an online Jewish learning community which enables adults of all ages to engage more deeply with Jewish texts and values, and apply them to 21st-century questions and challenges.  She is a Certified Tiny Habits® Coach and blogs about Positive Psychology and Tiny Habits on her website positivelytiny.com. 
Originally from Toronto, she has lived in the UK since the 1980s and has presented at Limmud UK events since he 1990s.
